Background

Change One Day  was founded on 2016 by Felix Koir. He interacted with fellow  primary school  children several times in Mombasa, during his years, Felix  witnessed extreme lack of books, drinking water and need for computer lessons and empowered children.

​

the effect it had on the children, including dropping from school caused by lack of note books and story books, thirty children, empowerment children and need for computer lessons.

 

Children who drop from school are now involved in abuse, child prostitution, early marriages, child labor, unnecessary early pregnancies and abortions and no

 opportunity for an education.

​

Felix felt a calling to establish an organization where he could address the challenges facing these children, and founded Change One Day.

 

Today, Felix and his fellow assist boys and girls, aged 2-13 who live in a variety of family situations in the Mombasa, Kenya. These children are Disadvantaged, Abandoned, orphaned, or extremely poor in Kenya.
